We left Miño early this morning and headed for Betanzos. It was a 10 km walk always made to feel a bit longer with the constant up out of a town and down into the next town. The elevation today was not too bad and the weather was not so hot with a nice breeze. We enjoyed the scenery along the way and met a nice gentleman at the mid point and highest point of our walk. He said “Don’t worry it is all downhill from here.” He had set up a booth and each day provides a drink and fruit to people on the camino. Later in the day we met a white horse on the road. It began to follow us for a short time and then decided to turn back. You never know what is around the next corner on the camino. We arrived in Betanzos early enough to enjoy a nice lunch before settling into our hostal. We explored the town and then went to mass. A great day all in all.
